Josh's '93 SC300 Build
So, this is my first build of my own (I've helped a lot building other cars, so I have some mechanical background), and any advice on the SC3's are greatly appreciated. Let's start.
On my birthday, I found out that a friend of a friend had a '93 SC3 Coupe for sale. The story was that he slid it into a curb and broke the upper and lower control arms on the rear passenger side, and that he didn't feel like messing with it so he was shooting for a quick sale. He was asking around $1k, but I offered him $100 jokingly... He countered with $150. I had just bought a car for $150... a '93 SC3 with a healthy 2JZGE. (Forgot to mention that he cut the coils)
I'll post pictures of the car later, but in the meanwhile, I'd like some tips on changing the upper and lower CAs, because another ClubLexus.com member mentioned something about the upper CA on the back being a pain in the @$$ to remove.
Also, I'm looking for coilovers (name brand, nothing no-name), high flow exhaust (again, quality, not chinese crap), driver and passenger door panels, 2 bucket/racing seats with mounting brackets (quality, no BS), and a W58 or R154 tranny (complete! Clutch, flywheel, bellhousing, etc.).
Thanks!

The rear uppers are a complete pain. IMO it is easier to lower the complete rear end and change them, than fight in the tight spaces. This what I done.
