Talking carter628 sc3 build

So i bought my first sc, i have wanted one for a long time and loving it! I was in the honda scene and the nissan scene and those cars dont compare!
After searching finally found a 95 silver with black interior sc has the usual dings and a few dents but was exactly the platform i was looking for with 195k and cheap!

night of purchase

first thing was get to work on the worn out lca's and man they can be a pain, the bolts were pretty seized up and the ball joints were literally on the point of failing

[IMG][/IMG]

so next i ordered pbm coilovers and wow they are amazing for the money and fit my needs. also ordered wheels at the same time, dont hate i like them and am on a budget, they were 25% off!

also rerouted the wiring harness

while installing the coils i decided to build an exhaust as the oem one was begging to be removed

steering bushings were shot so went with battleversion aluminum and am very happy
[IMG][/IMG]
restored the headlights and fogs and got 55w hids in 5k and did a home depot special edition front lip and for 5 bucks i like it
[IMG][/IMG]
next my front driver caliper was acting up so time for a ls400 bbk which was super easy and makes a huge difference

The progress is great. Has the front end been in an accident? I noticed the fenders and hood in the pictures that they are way off in color. This is one of my favorite colors on the SC!

ya i pulled the carfox before i bought it and it didnt pull up any accidents, maybe a minor driver error accident to justify a replace and repaint the fender and hood? there is no indication of any other damage other than cosmetic... idk but im going to be doing a few things to the body then vinyl the whole car silver again or maybe a gunmetal...and the coilovers are great but since the install i have a wierd clunky noise from the rears. its definitely coming from the coilovers and i cant find what it is. other than that they are better than any coils ive used or rode with (bc, megans, or ksport) worth way more money than you pay for them! And thank you ashtray! its been about 4 months of mods so far and i cant wait for more. your car is clean!

Wow, you weren't playing around man! I like what you've done, really good clean up! Results are night and day! Surprisingly that home depot lip looks pretty good! Thx for sharing, keep it coming!
