Default My SC300 2JZGTE swap - Slow Build!

Completed! Pix on page #7!

Here is my new 1995 SC300 5spd Black on Black! I recently sold my mint 1996 SR powered S14. Before that I had a 2004 Z33 Black on black manual With V2 Nismo kit and Gold Volk GTC's etc..
This is to fill the void that those cars left. The Z was a torque fiend and the S14 was a fun car to toss around town. For this car I'm looking for some comfort as the Z and S14 took a toll on my lower back.
Well this cars seats are surely comfortable but f man they don't hold for crap. So will be changing out the seats soon. More importantly the power plant will be the focus of the first phase. Second phase will consist of suspension and grip. Third phase will consist of paint and body restoration.

Was initially gonna go for a 1JZ swap but after some time the motorset i wanted was sold. So this left me not many options. So here she is a 92-96 2JZGTE from an Aristo complete with harness and ECU! More to come as time passes as will the questions

Basics:
Will keep W58 for now
Will keep Stock twins for now
Would like to keep AC

No time frame as of yet. But hope to pull the motor in the next few weeks to get the harness started. Thanks 97-SC300

It is always good to hear that people are continuing to do these swaps, after it has been so many times. The other issue is, is that I want to continue to read about them. Good luck with it. You wont be dissapointed with the 2JZ, whatsoever.

In case any was wondering the shift **** is Kazama from frsport. Feels excellent and priced well. Just don't put the sticker on it till it is super tight.. This is second time i did this and have a crooked looking emblem lol.

Well the time has come. The motor is at the shop getting prepped for the swap. I have purchased the following:

F&R main seals oem
2jzgte oil pump oem
Brian crower gear new
2jzgte water pump oem
Supra throttle cable oem
Drift motion power steering cable new
Supra dipstick oem
FMIC 3" Greddy for Supra replica new
Koyo R radiator for Supra TT new
Competition clutch stage 4 for w58 new
Competition flywheel
Drift motion intake new
3" Drift motion downpipe new
Harness from DR tweaked
Stock Supra TT
Few other small replacement items as well
Will use my oem rear sump setup
New baffle and gasket oem
Tanabe sway bars
Various bolts oem
Supra motor mounts

Rough total thus far:
Motorset = negotiated $2200 w\tax & delivery
Parts = $4700 and quickly climbing

I have taken all my advise from other build threads thus far from clublex!

if you use fan clutch and a 2jzgte fan blade you will be fine. The supra fan clutch is the same as the sc. The only difference is the fan blade itself. The 2jzgte fan blade sits further away from the engine and closer to the radiator.
