Maybe use a Apexi safc if needed but I'd rather wait for a EMS like AEM or Megasuirt etc. Unlike other brands When it comes to 2j's in my area finding tuners is not a problem. I would actually love to learn how to tune my own car to be honest.
Lots of 2J tuners? What part of Jersey is this?

(All within 1-2 hours tops)North NJ:

off the top of my head:
Sean Ivey
Street tuner in Newark (Friend's connect available via appointment only)
Vince @ RT tuning
Vinney Ten racing
Import Intelligence (they do all my install work and tunes)

I have had or have done business with Matt @ Import Intelligence and RT tunning. Friends all highly recommend the others. All are top notch shops and very professional!

No standalone just yet. I want to run this on the JDM Aristo ECU @ 11-12 PSI for the time being. I'm considering the Megasquirt ms3pro or AEM or any affordable option to be honest. If I can get her running nicely on 12 PSI for this season then I can wait a year (until next season) for full standalone like AEM or Haltech etc..

THANK YOU!
I am having my NA/T car built in Ma. right now. I will need someone close by (NYC) to help me keep it in tip-top shape once I get it back.
I will look them up!
Thanks

Vinny Ten is your guy then for sure. He started with 2J's then became known for building and tuning TT VQ's but has always tuned pretty much anything. There are others in NYC I believe out on LI.

Just waiting on my oil feed, return, fittings, Vband kit for the turbo & BOV. Will most likely just get the good ole HKS SSQV. Next I'm really contemplating a Megasquirt MS3pro ECU as it's totally Pnp and priced very well for what it says it can do. Says being the keyword. I personally don't know anyone who has ever run or tuned a megasquirt. You tube shows signs of greatness but yeah. Tired of messing with JDM ecu's. I hit boost cut in this effer and felt like a straight up lasso with a nice what I think was literally a zap sound. lmao was not fun but at least unlike hitting speed limit on the jdm sr ecu it didn't go into limp mode @ 110. I see why Japan is all about tuning lmao

Well had some time today to wrench with the help of one of my friends who also happened to have some time. So I made the call for help. We didn't even physically reference the Stock twin turbo removal how to but I read it over and over and was able to get pretty far in the 2 hours we had. We got 8 of the 12 14MM's and just the downpipe bolts to go as well as the "biotch bolt". Next weekend will tackle the rest hopefully in good weather.
