I just picked up a 92 SC today actually and looking to do the same swap using my W58 until a nice R154 pops up. When i was looking at the Megan mounts how do you know what to buy? The Supra and SC300 are apparently different or are they just labeled different? I also looked at the Tweaked harness and its and awesome idea but i can see how $1100 makes people take a different route but peace of mind and ease of install are sometimes worth it. Does anyone know if you can use a USDM ECU on a JDM engine or is it all different? I have noticed the auto swaps are cheap and finding an auto ECU is a little easier than finding a manual ECU unless its a USDM ECU. Just a few questions i have out of curiosity. Good luck with your build. I'm excited to watch it come together!
I used supra mounts. Check out driftmotion to familiarize yourself with what is available with regards to swaps they are good and have informative descriptions. I have seen some posts here with 2nd gen GS guys using USDM ecu's to power 2jzgte VVTI engine's so i would imagine it can be done with custom wiring but i see your 92 so just use an aristo ecu like me! I decided to purchase the harness for the clean look and experience they have. If you know someone and are good with wiring then you 100% can DIY the harness. Thanks
What is the deciding factor between a VVT-i motor and a non VVt-i motor? Is their an advantage/disadvantage to either of them? Does the SC require a rear sump oil pan?

Rear sump yes! Too many scenarios for me to try and breakdown when comparing for purchase. They both are fun motors.
Cant wait to see you diing donuts in that thang what u waiting on now
One small change to the harness which was already worked out. Hope to see her dropped in this week. Still have to address the exhaust setup. Right now i have OEM with gutted cat
what you have to change on the tweak harness shouldnt it be ready to go
They are ready to go but you have to tell them them starter n temp sending unit type. When i first ordered I made the mistake With one of them. They are simple to change n my guy got it quickly corrected with them. He could have went n found one but at this point I'm in no rush..
