Tell me about it, i was so scared i thought the transmission was done :/, we got it on the lift and confirmed my diff died, im getting a stock diff again just to save me money for my body work. im getting all my fluids done when its on the lift again so it should be bullet proof until i get my starter & power steering fixed up.

The diff died? wtf? Never heard of that before, not on a stock SC at least. Sucks to hear.

I was driving and just heard a loud pop, and then the car stopped moving, once we got the the shop got on the lift and tried changing gears, the drive shaft spins but it doesn't move the wheels, hence diff blown. He said it might of been dry, but we didn't open it, but once i go in today, i'll see for sure.

I like your attitude. This car will work out fine for you because you will push forward until it does!
It's gonna be a nice ride man. AND it's a 99!

It ruins the timeless lines of the SC, i also found out it's held in by bolts :/, No update from leo yet but he's saying that he should be done late this week or next week.

I found out it was a dealer option, i was reading my service recording for the car and it says"RECOMMENDED TO SEND CAR TO BODYSHOP TO HAVE UPPER AND LOWER HINGE ASSEMBLY REPLACED" how can i checked to see which side is going bad?
