Perfect thank you. It is the XS manifold I have so it already came with the ones on each runner and they even look a bit better than the ones pictures. Those rods on the one you posted do looks great though.

The manifold is a modified godspeed....with added supports and a 44mm tial wastegate flange welded on

LOL I may have typed that a bit Yoda like. I'm saying that the manifold that I have is the XS power one and it already came with the support on each individual runner. lol

Just finishing messing around with my wastegate flange and I noticed that the inlet hole is off center from the four bolt holes. Does this not matter as long as the bolt holes do align?

Post some pics up and worse case scenario get the right flange and have it welded on..

Here is a demonstration I made. The higher circle is with #1 right side up. The lower circle is with #2 right side up. The flange was rested against the aluminum perimeter of the recessed mouse pad.

It's about 4.76mm at the gap in between their circumferences.

Just by looking at the flange you can tell it is not centerted....Drill out the holes bigger and use bolts and nuts....that should enable you to get it centered....What wastegate are you using

Is it too late to convert it to a v-banded precision 46mm or tial MV-R?

As long as it seals and doesn't leak that small overlap isn't going to really cause any issues.

It's a TiAL 4-bolt style 40mm "Sport" wastegate.

Well it is not too late...but that would entail me ditching this wastegate and new flange (at a loss) and then sourcing a used v-band wastegate and it's flange. I'd rather just fix this problem than waste more money.

edit: Although I gotta say this 4-bolt crap has been a problem since I first bought this thing....I'd love a 46mm v-band precision.

I will say from experience anytime you can get rid of a gasket type flange and run a v-band instead is always worth it due to the shear simplicity factor and less likely to leak (superior design). The old tial 38mm 2 bolt wastegates worked great but I had the hardest time keeping the flange from leaking and replaced gaskets frequently. However I do understand trying to stay within a budget because modifying these cars can nickel and dime you quick especially when you start breaking ****!

So I just did a test fit with the flange and wastegate and they actually line up dead on. The wastegate hole is also off center in relation to the bolt holes. Now when getting the flange welded to my manifold do I do it with the tapered end attached to the manifold or with the flat end attached to it? I'll post pics right now of what I mean.

Does this wastegate have a "fire ring" or valve seat? The lipped edge side should fit the fire ring and seal it. The 2nd picture where you see no edge should be welded to the manifold.

Ok lemme edit that, from what I am seeing you have two flanges right now? The wastegate has a flange that mounts to the valve seat side, and then you have a second flange for the dumptube? Play with the assembly of the wastegate to the flange and see if the fire ring fits into the groove, if so then that side is meant to bolt to the wastegate.

Here is a diagram of the two F41 flanges:
http://www.turbomaster.info/eng/appl...models_eng.php

My PTE wastegate is v-banded, but the 2nd flange they included for the dump tube has a lip inside of it that allowed the dump tube to slip into the groove easily for welding. This could be what the lipped edge side of the flange was meant for.
