I bought the leather on ebay. It's not all that great but a lot better than before. Will eventually try to find a good condition black interior.

So after I hopped in and drove a 5 speed miata with no ps for the first time ever! (Didn't stall and drove like a pro, this was my first time driving a manual car) I have the urge to do a 5 speed swap. But I wouldn't mind a paint job or new wheels either. So I am at a stand still.
-5 speed swap? (w58)
-new wheels
-diy paint/professionally wrap
What do you guys think I should do? And if I go with the 5 speed route, would it be less complicated if I just pulled the whole engine with transmission out? Would also be a great time to do a rebuild. I never pulled any engine out of any car so this would be my first. However I have changed a clutch on an S14 before.

Nice build Man! where are you located? I'm in union city maybe you seen my car around its a silver sc300 with silver te37s. I have a couple friends that havemoded sc3/4s maybe we can meet up and have some car talk! Lol if your into it lets go tear up calaveras sideways or do some touge!

Also if you do the manual swap just jack up the car high and remove the trans. Latter down the road when you you do a gte swap "everyone does it sooner or latter" remove the complete motor set wit the trans and everything together.
