Well, since the twins exploded... I decided to single turbo my 1J. A friend of mine had an hx35 literally laying on his garage floor for a while. So he let me use that for my project. The turbo was kinda Ugly so I decided to polish the compressor housing.

Here it is before any work was done


Here it is while taking of the annoying bracket on the side.


And so the sanding began... I didn't realize how much sanding was actually needed. After hours and hours I got slightly frustrated...


The finished product.



I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out... but I'm not sure if I'll polish anything ever again.

Got a whole ton of work done over the past week. not to install my new 1zz coils and get to work on retuning it

Did I miss the photos of the saleen wheels? I want to see the difference it made from those other huge tires lol

Got a couple of decent pictures from over last week. I also have a bunch of pictures from the whole build process that I have yet to upload.

Wow that looks good man. To each their own but I'd say you could drop it about an inch all around before you rub.. Good polish job on the snail too!

I would like to lower a bit more, at least in the back. maybe a tad bit in the front.
