Thanks rome, I actually sprayed mine yellow and they came out pretty caliper paintbut I banged them in a couple spots when I was reinstalling them on the rotor and now I have some nicks. I plant to wait the 7 days then sands the areas where the nicks are the apply the touch up with a paint brush. After that I will put some clear over them. The yellow is going to be harder to keep clean but I like it. No picks until they are fixed up lol.
Don't use paint brush. Ull be better off resandin the nicked area and go back over with the caliper paint then Clear it. U always wanna clear it because it could mess up more and be harder to wash and keep clean if u clear it sooner then later its better protection for the paint.
I just thought it would be easier to touch up with a brush than to respray. I was going to spray some of the paint in a cup after I sand the chips down.
Considering the distance most people will be viewing the calipers from I would imagine it wouldn't be a huge difference. I did see a Youtube video where the guy cut the bristles down to half before painting.
