purchased the car at the auctions as a total loss due to water damage in the interior
the car is now currently stripped and ready for roll cage
quickly went about stripping the interior read for roll caging
taking out the BS on the behind the dash
how she stands after the stripping
at my mates shop getting the cage welded and fitted
its actually a custom cage taking alot of design layout from the CCS-R car
rear X bar
small update
cut the dash up the fit it behind the cage
modded the front bar for bigger cooling capacity
stripped the front panels for more weight shedding to be had
Cleaning up the chassis
wont be using the bar that came with the car
got alot of stuff that we can use for my road car for spares

front doors
Final Result
As for weight saving
Front doors with no trims is 29.20KG
after gutting it out and cutting the panels off we got it down to 19.7KG
Rear doors here 20.20KG
after gutting and cutting 15KG on the dot
Tried fitting back the wiring for the last few nights
all i can say is FXXK this lol but i must press on
Oh and over the weekend thanks to Shane aka gorilla test fittted some TE37's
sadly the Te's were too big and agressive and deicded to go witha nother set of wheels
Sparco circuit and Sparco suede steering wheel
Yeap thats right
OS Giken LSD for ISF
thanks to FIGs we have LSD!
so got the car back from the painters
started to put the car back together
we will be running the penske set up and all control arms from figs and novel headers and custom straight pipe exhaust
at current stage the car has been pulled apart again and waiting for my fabricator to finish off the front aero and diffusers for the front bar

Have you thought about replacing the OEM motorized steering column with a unit from an IS250 or 350 without the telescoping and electric motoring extra weight in it? Should be pretty straight forward and reduces one more thing that could go wrong at the track.
