Thinking of getting my wheels refinished in a different colour. Currently they are matte grey with machined face and have a matte clear coat. The brake dust does stick to them a lot more being a matte finish. I was thinking of going silver with machined face and a gloss clear coat.

Any suggestions?

unless its the color that bothers you, you can try........

22PLE - wheel coating

Thanks Digger, I've taken the wheels off and they are at the wheel refinishers now getting redone. When I get them back I will coat them with C Quartz or 22PLE or even opti coat (still trying to decide which to get)

Just got my wheels back from being re finished. Originally they were machined face with matte grey windows and had a matte clear coat. I had them done in metallic silver with machined/polished face and gloss clear coat. Not a lot different but brighter. The main reason I had them done is the brake dust was hard to get off the matte finish. Before I put them back on the car I coated them with nanolex Ultra http://www.nanolex.de/en/products/na...-alloy-sealant which is definitely repelling the dust and makes cleaning them a breeze.

Not the best pics sorry

Looks good with the new finish. I would either raise the rear or lower the front to make it an even drop. Looks like the rear is always squating down in every pic.
