I must say this thread is very inspiring...I'm actually currently redoing my sc the same way...this thread actually is one of the reasons I kept my sc and decided to build it...

Thanks man. I appreciate the compliments on this. I have to say it has been rather trying on a few things.

Sanded down the center vent, and the passenger side vent. The glue was allowed to dry for two days. Before, sanded with 320 grit sandpaper:

Now with SEM black paint. Barely can see the cracks anymore. I did the best I could:

Went shopping today and got a few things:

Then when I got home, Christmas was awaiting at the front door yet again:

Jay only one set of lights came in. I don't know why. I have emailed Amazon and I don't know why they haven't charged my PayPal card yet.

Will do man. Wont be long now. Just finished rerunning your new vacuum line to the A post. Had to drill a new hole in the firewall to get it to go. Will work a little more tomorrow. Kinda at a stand still till the wood grain comes in.

Thanks man. I just hung up with Jay and he is getting anxious. He is ready to start seeing stuff going back together.

Jay did you want me to run the hands free mic also? Some use it, some don't. I will run it to the visor. When I installed mine, I never could get mine to sync with my Samsung Note II. I just put the new kit on the radio and secured it. Radio looks good. I am ready to see it light and hear some Polk Audio's.

Did you want to buy an amp and sub?

After closely looking at them more, I decided to wetsand them down with 1500 grit and then buff them with a foam pad using 3M finishing compound. When you don't have some one to help you hold them, this is what you do. Worked great!

First piece installed with all the screws back in. I did this so Jay wouldn't accuse me of not using all the screws and there was something rattling. LOL

Passenger installed together and ready for delivery..LOL For some reason I painted to Left hand insert that are plastic. This is the piece that goes directly behind the door handle itself. After all of my searching, I found two more left hand ones in the garage. So I had to do a little grinding and wolla they fit.

Now for the passenger side vent.. With and without the flash...

Dont worry Jay, I also used all the screws for this piece too! LOL

The driver side door. My buddy forgot the other piece, but this will be picked up on Wednesday.

Got the Metra kit installed also.

I dont know why some pictures are great and some are so foggy looking. I have used my Samsung Note II to take every single one of these pictures. If anyone was wondering. Some are fantastic, some aren't.

Ok men.. Here goes... I got alot done today, well sorta.

The gauge pod holder wouldn't accommodate the new gauges, so I had to start sanding with 320 grit. It fits snug now, and functions as it should.

Installed the passenger side air bag and wood grain:

Installed the passenger duct work:

Installed the metal bracket:

Installed the dash bolt:

Worked on the door and looked great. Look how the 6 1/2 cleared the door panel.

Used these for the bottom of the door and they held great.

Next order of business was the a trim on the passenger side.

If you need to buy these, here is the package from Lowes.

Went to work on the AEM gauge rerouting from behind the stock radio wiring. Zip tied them together so it would be easier to handle.

Went fishing for wires from the bottom.

Had to do some inline connecting.

Installed teflon tape on the boost gauge fitting.

Tied in the AEM boost gauge.

Used this to trim/cut the a pillar, worked great.

This is installed, but I had to wait for the SEM paint to dry.

Used those caps again.

Worked on the vacuum line from firewall.

New hole.

Installed.

Installed the driver side vent.

I would have prolly finished it today on a serious note if I had the needles, climate control, and center grain. Thats all I am waiting on. The wood grain for the driver door is done. My buddy just forgot it lying on the table.

Thanks Jay for the compliments. When I am done I will take alot better pictures of it. If you dont mind I will also list all the parts and prices. I think so far we are at around 2800 by my receipts.
