As long as you prepped with the pad and use the SEM prep cleaner, you should be fine. SEM is the best auto paint that I have ever used. It should strengthen once it is installed and the sun bakes it into the pieces further. Bottom line, as long as they feel fine, and smooth, I wouldn't be concerned. Thats my opinion.

Honestly I havent seen it but one time since I finished it. When I did see it it was just like it was when I finished it. The car just sits right now due to Jays work. I havent talked to Jay in awhile due to his work schedule.

You know that is so true. When he fixes his traction issue, his car is going to be a beast...I will have no chance. Period. Dont forget the tail lights.

How I missed this thread until now, I don't know, But, at least I didn't have to wait over a month to see it all come together. I got to read all of it in one night. Great work Mark! Definitely bookmarking this as a guide for myself.

Thanks guys for all the great feedback. I worked my you know what off on this car. His looks better than mine in some areas. Mine still is holding up well, but I have to touch the seats up every 6 months or so. Thats minimum effort to keep the black look.

Yeah me too. I will tell you this, the few people who has seen this in person, thought it was just replaced with new panels and carpet. They never would have guessed it that someone painted it, especially the feel of the seats and such. I appreciate the positive feedback.
