haha, funny. my trunk used to sound like a box of Lego's when i would open and close it from drilling out the rivets of the old spoiler brackets. Once i got the liner off i got all that crap outta there.

I got the bulbs for hella cheap from eBay seller name "ckw1228". A lot of people here buy the kits from LuxuryMods too.
The plate looks great. Not too bright. and Not yellow light anymore

Bought mine on eBay for $29 from deezeeauto and the brand is "StrongArm" and they come with the swivel ball bolts so you dont have to drill out your old ones.

Unscrew the factory ones with a 12mm

Reinstall the new ones Used a (7/32) - Done Deal! Hood Raises up by itself.

do you have a part number for those hood struts? i cant seem to find em on deezee. and did you pay $29 for the pair or just for one?

told you this thread was inspiring me.

i would appreciate the part # as i looked some up from him on ebay he says fit our car and they dont have the ball bolts at all on them or atleast not in his picture (it maybe a universal generic picture but it doesnt say it includes them

ok, so i know i already did a walkthrough on how i did my tail lights. but since i had a bad resistor on one i had to ship em back and get another set. I did these a lil bit different.

new K2's

scuffed

darkened lower white area and thinned out turn/reverse area

cuttin the design

ready for final sprays

Onyx Black sprayed lightly and 4 coats of clear

Show you the bulbs lit up

Still need to wet sand and orbital in a day or two

i was surprised they didnt mind. so, even though they arent braga's and can have issues at least the customer service end of the company is good.

as far as the hood struts, when i bought mine i didnt even think about the ball nuts being included. luckily they were in the pack. once they arrived it made sense why some people have to drill theirs out. worked out well. that was an easy install
