My SC300 Build... One of a kind one day. lol
So about a month ago i picked up an SC300 and to be completely honest... i've seen them in much better condition. lol. It has cosmetic damage, some mechanical annoyances, and some style is needed in it's design. Luckily enough, the new owner (Me) has some adventurous plans and the patience to carry them out.
Anyway, this thread will be slow moving, but definitely worth watching for updates, and honestly i'll need some help here and there with this.... tips and tricks of the trade to get her built. So below i've posted some pictures of how she sits right now. Hope you enjoy the progress as it comes.

Well here's how the plan sits as of now:
-Satin Olive Drab Green Vinyl Wrap
-19" aggressive wheels
-Bags on Coilovers
-Spoiler delete with roof spoiler added
-Origin Style Aero Kit
- Double Din audio with system.
- Carbon Fiber hood and trunk (trunk wrapped, hood bare)
- JDM Soarer Badging on front and rear.
- And eventually a JDM GTE with USDM Twins
Any tips or tricks that you can think of?

In case I haven't already told you...welcome to CL! I see you're also in Louisiana? What part? As far as your plans, sounds like they're well thought out...take your time, go easy on your wallet. lol, but seriously, I would start looking in the "sticky" section-there are several D.I.Y. write ups, which may help with your build. GL, keep us posted.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I live in Baton Rouge. I actually plan on doing this entire build myself... going to a shop is going to be like pulling teeth. It says your in NC (funny because i was stationed on MCAS Cherry Point and actually am a founding member of a car club up there) But are you down here in Louisiana?
As far as the build plan goes, i spent a lot of time thinking of exactly what i want to do for it, and trust me... i already have roughly $30K on the written budget plan.

Thanks Joey, I appreciate the good wishes everyone. Definitely some positive motivation for getting this project. I know it will take a lot of time, but the first few parts will be done soon.... first i have to bondo the dents and dings before i can wrap it. and get rid of the duckbill in the process.

Levie: Air suspension is one of those things that I'm going to have to save for... It runs for thousands. But thank you for the kind words. Lol
Steve: where are you stationed?
1siksc: thanks man. I appreciate it

So after some coolant problems, i got it back up and running. The first body part (Origin Roof Spoiler) came in as a Christmas Present from the GF. Fitment was spot on, but i won't be mounting it until i have the money to paint. I did come deliberation about the wrapping idea, and some research... White on black is apparently a really rare color combination on a lexus, so i don't know if i wanna move away from that. lol. We'll just have to see after i get the wheels. (That's going to be a bit of a treat when i order them.)
