Congrats to you and wifey with the new addition! I'm liking the updates that you're coming back with. Those wheels are going to be sick too!

Thanks Steve. Ellie Marie, our daughter is the best addition to our wolf pack lol.

Almost about done with the car and ready to move onto body and paint. Maybe that will happen this tax season.

CatMan, I went with 1521 for street use and they are working great. I too was going to go XP10 and XP8 but from my reading they are super noisy pads for the streets. Apparently if they are not hot enough, you will sound like a train trying to stop. Some say they don't do that some say they do. For me, I didn't want to deal with that noise plus they are more for road racing where hard corner breaking is being done. The 1521s are doing great for me. From a 160mph pull braking to 100 is great. Pads stick well and stop great and they don't heat up all too much.

My Original plan was to go Brembo Big Brakes up front but I came to find out that they didn't not fit my style of CCW Race Classics. So I decided to get a quality pad for the LS calipers instead.

Sparco Fighter seats and one base came in. Still waiting for the drivers side base and mounting both hardware kits. I opted for the Fighter seat as they are almost the same as the Evo II seats but not SFI certified for 550 a seat vs 800 for the Evo. For my use, I don't see a need for a certified seat. Racequip camlock harness will be here today as well.

What did you not like about the sparco base? I think they might be back ordered but I got lucky with the one. Did you install sliders as well?

With the seat installed they were really flimsy....i could rock back and worth side to side..... the wedge brackets are way better IMO...

You will also need some spacers to use the slider.....it hits the front edge of seat......

Happen to have any pics? The spacer kit from sparco is the other item I am waiting for. What spacers did you use?

How are you liking those rear tires so far for street driving/occasional hard cornering, stopping, road noise, etc.? Obviously they should be good with straight line traction but curious how they are besides that?
