I went for a test drive the other day at light throttle and I still have to work out some small things. I realized during the drive it was puking oil out of the dipstick where it meets the transmission. I may have put a little too much fluid in it which is causing it to come out of that area. The Dipstick was a bit hard to read so I have to figure out a better solution for that. Also need to seal that area off a little better.

On a side note, got an awesome pair of rear 15x10 Weld 3 piece wheels from Gerb. Now I just need to figure out what tire to go with!

Those 3 piece Weld wheels look nice ... hahaha .

325/50r15 but would need a bit of massaging on the front inner side wheel well..

or 295/55r15 .... I prefer the former , they look so mean !!!!!!!!!!!

Will do ... (and edit this post once I have picture)

on the driver side it is the wall of the left side of the coil spring / suspension . On the passenger side it is the wall on the right side of the coil spring / suspension.

those walls need to be massaged / hammered in to get the inner tire wall rotate freely. It is because the 325/50R15 is very wide and its side wall bulges

hope am not confusing you .. hahaha..

I prefer MT ET Street II Radials... only $240 each. Though you get a little more mileage with Nitto 555r if you daily drive your car. I get around 5k on the Mickey T and got more than that on the Nitto . But the Mickey hooks a lot better .

Drove the car to work this morning and it looks like everything is good to go. I still need to break in the rear LSD and do some light boosting to break in the trans.

Here is a video cruising around the neighborhood. These th400's do have a 1rst gear whine but this is very common on an built th400. I dont mind it much..... cuz car car

Shifts like butter, seems to be working great. How many more miles until the break in period is up?

I kept getting a little excited when i saw that you went 60-70% throttle lol

Yes it does shifts like butter and feels amazing not loosing boost during shifts.

I am having a bit of trouble trying to keep the trans cool though. I attempted to go for a long drive and temps got up to the 207 which is pretty hot. Since it got this hot, oil would start coming out of the dipstick where it enters the trans getting onto the exhaust and smoke up the highway . So I need to get another cooler with a fan and possibly add a fan to the exciting ones.

Hope that does the trick to keep the temps under 185. I will be doing something similar to what Gerry has done with keeping the trans cool. 3 coolers!!

Got the 30 row oil cooler with a fan installed in the passenger air dam. I think this is the biggest cooler you can fit in there properly. I need to wire them in, get the lines made and connect them to the other oil cooler that is in front of the radiator. I may also put in two pusher fans in front of those coolers to try an keep all my temps down since I have trouble keeping them in the 180*F range.

Don't mind the dirty IC piping.. This car is driven not garage kept when its able to be driven lol .

I got a trans cooler about that size with a fan on my built auto and I have never seen it over 170. Even in stop and go traffic at 98 outside. So you should be more than good!!

That is good to hear. I hope this does solve the heat issue as well and be able to go for a drive this weekend.
