Sure does have many purposes I used a degreaser first to get any grease or heavy dirt off the barrels. Just so the washer wouldn't get clogged.

Sense Ive been wanting to do a engine bay wire tuck for some time now, I decided to give it a go. After seeing Gerry doing his wire tuck and said F it, time to knock it out. I didn't have much else to do anyway sense I'm going to wait to do the finishing touches on the exhaust this weekend during the day.

Ran out of wire and solder so ill have to finish this weekend as well. Passenger side seems to be hardest side.

And got a questions for some you folks. Whats the best longest lasting tire with good traction in the 315 295 size? Been looking at the r888s but i think they only last for so long. I cant seem to around paying 1300 for tires that will only last about 5k miles. Other option i was looking at nt05s but they don't have the 40 side wall in 315s that I'm looking for, for the 17s. What are all yours thoughts?

Sure does! I had to extend the plugs on that side, did you have to do the same?

All drag radials do not lasts but 5k-8k depending on how bad you get out of stops. For drag radials , Nittto 555r lasts the longest meaning gets the most mileage and are the best on wet pavements but they don't hook as well as the MT or BFG or Hoosier. All those that hook really well are not good on wet pavements .. forget it. There is a trade off always. If you are above 500rwhp and want your tires to lasts around 8-10k and are still kinda safe on wet pavements.. go Nitto 555r. Toyo R888... good choice also for your current power goal. They just don't have those high sidewall tires like the others.

Nitto 555 that are not drag radials.. lasts a lot longer .. maybe 20k but they spin bad on 1st / 2nd gear above that 500rwhp.

Thanks for the good info. Exactly what I wanted to know. Ive been going back and forth with the nt05s and r888s but unfortunately the nt05s don't make the sizes I need and the r888s do. So ill be ordering the r888s today

Got a few more thing done over the weekend.

wire tuck done.
cut the exhaust tips.
installed the catch can.

I had a box of factory wire from my other car so I was able to extend those plugs for the wire tuck and have all the wires color matched. made things 10x easier and faster.

Catch can Polishers always do a great job!

Exhaust tips. The ends where cut at a 7 degree down slope.

And some engine bay shots.

Tires are being mounted today on the CCWs. Cant wait to get them mounted. Than set ride height and off the the alignment shop to get squared up.

315/30/17 rears 285/30/18 fronts Toyo R888

And a short video of the exhaust sound from last night. This is at cold idle and as you can see the afrs are all over the place..

good cold start enrichment . No crank crank crank crank AEM start .

Nice tires by the way ... hooks up pretty good on the streets with your power goal. Those are 315/35s right ? didn't think they have 315 in 30s with size 17 rims.
