8052JZ's NA-T Build

Its alive and well!!!! After Ali tweaking the fuel map for these injectors, I loaded the new cal, set TPS and timing, than boom, fired right up! Everything sounds healthy and well and let me tell you these injectors are quite loud as you can hear them ticking at idle. This is why I love forums like these because their so much information out there and people actually willing to share the wealth of knowledge and help you out. Unlike other forums I've been on, they always say its a secrete figure it out....
Anyway, while I was swapping out the injectors, the turbo got freshened up just because its was off, why not! I also swapped out the -4 feed line for the turbo to a -3 sense this turbo is pretty small and doesn't need all that oil. Shortened the drain line and made it a little straighter than before. Another thing that helped with the drain was welding an elbow to the compressor housing on the turbo instead of using a coupler. Freed up some space and allowed me to clock the turbo a few more degrees. This also eliminates the risk of the coupler getting burned from being so close to the manifold.
3rd times a charm!!! Going to try and make it to the tuner this weekend. Than suspension work is next

Glad to hear it finally run. It is a great place for information. I couldn't have done with my build either without the help of these guys on here. You know who you are. I was ready to sell it....

Glad it's up and running !
It's very easy to get your car running on the aem specially the V1, I figured it was very simple but yeah if you don't know how to set it up don't mess with the settings.
That Pipe looks great on that turbo , i got one on my car .

There's just so much in the aem that its hard to learn right away. After talking with a few people I'm getting a better understanding of how everything works and actually getting hands on with it, is making it easier and easier to use..
I should have done the turbo elbow from the start. Makes it so much easier to rout the drain line. lol

damn no video yet lol So I went for a drive and its runs ok but when I get on the gas its falls right on its ***. Adjusted the fuel map just a tad and it got some what better. Before this map and the 1100cc injectors it pulled fairly well through out all rmps and hitting 10psi no problem. After adjusting the map a little it was able to do some pulls after 3k rmp and on but anything before its just falls right on its ***. Sense the tuner is about 2 1/2 hours away, I think the best bet is to tow it there and get it done if I cant get it to drive ok on the way there.
