I was able to get some things done today. After about 6 hours, I was able to pull the engine and transmission with the help of my friend Chris and my dad. It took a while since we had some clearance issues with the hoist and my roof, we actually had to put the hoist together, and some hiccups with the wire harness.
Some helpful tips if you're removing your stock engine and transmission:
It's best to do it outside in a well lit area so you have the room and visibility
Drain all of the fluids and be prepared to have some pour out when the engine is tilted
Take your time with the ECU plugs. There are clips on the top that you have to press down on to get them out. There's also a screw holding the main plugs on the ECU that you have remove
Have some swivel sockets and lot's of PB Blaster handy
We couldn't remove one of the motor mounts without removing the exhaust manifold first
There are two bolts holding the engine harness against the rubber grommet on the firewall
Leave the car in neutral and apply the hand brake
****BE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING THE AC LINES****
My friend and I were sprayed in the face with gasses and fluids. These lines are pressurized! The same goes for the fuel lines I believe. We didn't have this problem since we removed the fuel pump prior to this
That's all I can think of but if anyone needs help with something, PM me
Here are some pictures

Dumb question but my car isn't registered yet since I bought it and transferred the title to my name and I need to know if I need to keep my original ECU that has my original mileage when I take it to get registered? Since this car is going to have a new engine, will they consider it as a restored vehicle and would it make sense to leave the stock ecu or the aristo when going to emission testing?

Looking good! If you need anything let me know. The harness is hard wired for the OBD1 Data logger. It's a pretty cool thing to have on a new build because you can verify a lot of things in the stock ECU. You'll need an old laptop with a serial port to use it.
I labeled the wire on the serial connector that you need to ground to use it. I hooked it up to a button, but you could simply ground it anywhere you wanted when you need it.

Parts came in! Now just looking forward to this weekend so I can put the engine back together! Decided to stick with the stock cams for now. Plan on upgrading later on down the road.

Got the cylinder head, turbo, and manifold on today. It's looking great with the mocked up valve covers and cam gears!
Just saving up for my camshafts and the engine is done. Transmission and clutch is next.

I took a gamble and purchased some USDM 2JZGTE camshafts from a 1993 Supra where the user stated they were machined and "drop in ready" for a 1JZGTE. I confirmed that they were for a non-vvti engine (just in case). With this mod, I read that the camshafts are a bit longer by a few mm. Does this mean I have to run a different timing belt and or seals? I just purchased some belts from DM I believe the gates before I got the cams.

Engine is going back together this weekend. Just have to decide if I want to use my Aristo ECU after all and purchase a patched jumper harness from Tweak. Running Aristo injectors so I figure it should be fine.

Decided on not going with the Aristo ECU after speaking to Aaron at DM. For now, I happened to also can't seem to find the Aristo ECU in my mess but hopefully it shows up. Picked up a clutch pedal assembly of Ebay from a 93 SC300 for about $190 shipped. Also picked up some cam seals, exhaust manifold nuts, and some other nuts and bolts that I needed. Literally what's left is he following:
Shifter Extension - getting it done locally by Future Fab here in AZ
Transmission nuts, bolts, and misc. parts - Driftmotion
Master and slave cylinders - have a friend that works at NAPA who can hook me up!
Oil, radiator and other lines - Driftmotion
Motor mounts - Driftmotion
Intercooler Piping - Ebay
Wastegate and BOV - hopefully used or Driftmotion
Driveshaft - hopefully used or through Suspicious Garage locally
AEM EMS or Apexi Power FC - still deciding but either through Driftmotion or Suprastore

These have been some crazy past couple of months for me hence the lack of progress. I recently moved and was hospitalized for a TIA this weekend so I haven't had time to look for more parts or do much to the car. My days have been spent in bed watching bad HBO movies and sleeping a lot due to the vicoden for my spinal tap.
Anyways, I was able to find a pair of tan MKIV Supra Leather seats for super cheap and will be getting those delivered on Wednesday. I'm also thinking about picking up a driveshaft from an MKIII Supra. All that's left is to get the valve covers powder coated, new engine mounts, MKIV TT fuel pump, an ECU, and misc nuts and bolts for the transmission and engine.
