After cutting with the diamond cutting wheel. I used a grinding wheel to take out the sharp edge. It worked nicely after that. I wished I can just roll the fender but theres a high chance of dimples so I decided to just cut and be done with it.
Im interested in doing the same thing.... how much can you trim/shave off before it splits ? I know your in CA but for those of us who are not would this type of trimming lead to rust ?

I didnt cut it all the way. I left a little bit
im planning on putting some touch up paint to cover it up to prevent rust.
I was also thinking of using JBweld? lol
when i rolled mine I taped off and sprayed under coating. Didnt think I needed to cut to fit.. I might cut my fronts and re roll.
yeah i was thinking about the under coating stuff also.
The front also dimples but its less than the rears since its softer
I did my driverside and left my passenger side alone to see if it rubs.
I probably need to roll the passenger side now
Thanks! Im running megan LP's
Ride is decent esp with the price i paid with lifetime warranty
I just need to drill the hole for the a arm!
Nice, I'm thinking about going with the LP's. I just want something that's not going to ride like skunk2 coilovers with kyb agx shocks. Hahaha, that's what I have on my 93 civic. And that ride is rough.

my stiff spring rates remind me of a civic on kyb agx and eibach prokit. LPs are soft for a nearly 4,000lbs car. which is great since it is a luxury vehicle. I need to ride in a car with LPs so I compare.
yeah, The LP's seem like a good bang for the buck. Might not go as low as some other setups in the rear. But I'm not looking to lay frame anyway haha.
Mine is maxed in the rear. That's the bad part about the megans if you wanna roll static.
Loosening the preload will help going lower in the rear. The fronts has no problems
I didnt have any problems with dimpling.I only had to roll mine because the bed metal was so thin. I'm guessing that on the LS. its thick enough that it wont be a problem. Before i rolled the fenders, you could grab the lip and shake the fenders...that'd be my concern when cutting the LS fenders.
