I'll see if i can get a good pic of the headlight pattern for you.
any specific distance you want the car from a wall?

would i need longer studs for the spacers?
I'm hesitant to spend money on spacers as I'm trying to find wheels with the widths and offsets I want so I wont need to run spacers.

but yeah, the tuck in the rear is pretty atrocious!

I got the headlights and taillights from the same guy on eBay.... Neondials for about $300&$220 respectively.
Headlights did not come with bulbs so add that into the cost as well... I'm using hella extreme dot bulbs I may upgrade to hits down the road, just 3 sets of hids is something I'm not spending my money on right now. A least not until all of the maintenance work I want to do is taken care of.

Thanks for your reply.

When i have the money to buy those lights i will order them. They look really good on your car, not some cheapass stuff but similar to original in quality.

I had a bit of luck with my coils. They looked brandnew, only had been fitted for 12 months. And bought them for 175€.

But the gas in Holland is so expensive that almost all my 'car' money go's to gas and taxes. 1 liter of gas eur 95 is 1.72€ now !!

No problem.
My headlights came with the matching clear corners and my tails came with the matching front bumper turn signals.
The corner lights are admittedly a little cheap looking. I also did not trust the seal on any of the lights so I went ahead and ran a bead of clear silicone around all of the lights to keep them from fogging. While this worked well on all the rest of the lights, it made the corners look a little cheaper still as you can see the silicone where as on the others you cannot....
Just a fair warning, I'd almost be tempted to keep the factory corners...

Oh and here is the light pattern of the lights with my Hella "High Performance Blue" bulbs. The fence is about 30ft away and I am on approximately level ground from the car to the fence.

Just the low beams:

Low beams with fog lights:

High beams:

I have a couple of H4 relay harnesses laying around that keep the lows on when the highs are switched on. I have run those harnesses on other lights for years and years without issue. The second harness I'd cut off the H4 connector and replace it with a combo of 9005 and 9006 ends for the additional high beam as well as the fog light. That way, when I turn on my highs, ALL of the lights illuminate to completely flood the road with light!

I'll do a how to for that as well as it will also work with the factory 95-97 lights, as they are the same bulbs.

I see what you mean Mike. Car is looking great

What is the ride like when it is that low?

I need to roll the front left a little to mitigate a small amount of rub when turning right on anything but flat ground, it's not the soft floaty ride that would cruise over speed bumps like before but it's fine on full soft on my BC's. You have to drive with a little more care for bumps but I've driven rock hard race suspensions on the street with ground clearance that would high center on a 2x4 after ripping off the front splitter so my idea of acceptable may be a bit different from yours.

You do feel the bumps but its not rock hard...
I have 14k and 10k springs and am at full soft. At full hard, the ride quality sucks, those rock hard race suspensions rode nicer!

I went over the other night to pick up my winter wheels and tires I got as a combo deal with the Maya's. I also swung by my refinisher to disassemble the wheels for polishing and to take the centers for blasting while check on the progress of refinishing. The lips are dressed and wheels have been straightened, the centres are apart and with me for stripping and blasting.

However I have decided to go another direction as I'm not as stoked on how these wheels look for the car as I thought I would be. So I'm going to sell them as as a refinished to order set of wheels. I found a set of Auto Couture Supreme's in 19x10 19x11 with +11&22et and a set of Leon Hardiritt Ritter's in 19x10 19x11 with +22&24et which I think would better suit this car for the style and fitment I'm after.

A little update...

I ended up selling the Maya's as I wasn't blown away by how they looked on the car.
Turned around and bought a set of the wheels i wanted from day one along with some extra maintenance parts. took a few weeks for everything to come in but I went and picked up my new wheels and some other parts today....

Leon Hardiritt Ordens in 19x10 33et and 19x11 32et

Also ordered a Aisin timing belt kit, new temp sensor, Lower control arm bushings, rear carrier bushings and of course, new Moog Upper control arms. I will be sure to post a detailed comparison to the stock arms.

Paint on that LS looks great. Did you have it painted or did you get it like that? Any idea if Moog make arms for LS430?

Paint on the car is actually really rough. There are chips and dings every where, pictures just seem to hide it.
The car has a few hits on it and there is obvious non-factory paint work. not done poorly, just not factory.

Pretty sure the car was owned at one point by an elderly Chinese man, as it has a Chinese compass on it and there are obvious signs of careless parking lot use.

I'm planning to modify the fenders and have the car re-sprayed hopefully this summer, if everything works out like I have it planned. So far she's coming together just like I wanted, aside from the exhaust.... still up in the air if I want a full stealth single or stealth dual..

Oh and I get most of my parts from RockAuto, you could have a look.

The Moog arms for this car were ~$125 each
