Latest mod:
Starnill LED 9006 fog light bulbs. My aftermarket HID ballast finally stopped working after about 6 years..not bad for a $29 investment for the HID kit. As far as these LED bulbs..let me first say that the brightness of these lights is simply ridiculous. I love them and it's exactly what I was looking for. Pics below. The comparison pics are with the the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra bulbs I had in there temporarily.

Def shines farther bur the only drawback is the beam pattern isn't nearly as defined which was expected. I'm used to HIDs so no surprises here. I run my fogs as DRLS so these are perfect for my main objective

Ok folks, you know I have discussed my adventures with my VAIS Technology IVIC at length but a huge thanks to the help of my good friend and tech advisor Shibumi1, I have successfully gone wireless by using my Google Chromecast to wirelessly emulate my Galaxy Note 4 screen and audio. My IG shows a quick demo.

Here is my post from the IVIC forum on VAIS's website:
I can confirm that Google Chromecast dongle works with my IVIC in my 2008 Lexus LS600hL. About a 1/2 second lag, not really noticeable. I have a NON ROOTED Galaxy Note 4 phone. I use the phone's mobile hot spot to connect the Chromecast to the wifi network and then I click on the top left menu to the CAST SCREEN option and it connects instantly. Working great so far after a few days of use. The only issue so far is when I hit hard bumps, I will lose audio for about a second but it plays through no problem. The beauty of this is now I can use my fast charger since the MHL adapter is no longer needed so my phone can stay fully charged when running the IVIC. With the MHL adapter, the phone sees the cable as USB and therefore it only charges around 500mah which isn't enough to keep up with the HDMI connection. A rooted phone with power control kernel will allow for higher mah adjustment, but with this Chromecast setup, I no longer have that concern. And from what I have been able to tell, the sound and video quality is just as good as my cable was. Totally Wireless!!!!
