Plus it'll be visibly stretched more than the rear. Gonna have to worry about the load rating of the tire. Also gonna have a problem with rake since the rear tires will be about .8 inches taller. You should probably run a 225.

Btw.. You better have free time on your hands when my wheel gets sent to you, so get this build done already lmao.

Can't wait to see it together man! Those wheels are gonna kill.

I'm aware, I used to run 215/35 on 9.5" and 225/35 on a x10. Reason I'm going to run the 215/35 is because they are left over brand new tires from my last setup for my IS300 and I never got to use them. If it doesn't provide the look I'm going for, I'll swap them out in the near future.

I am also unfamiliar with the fitment/rubbing issues with this car, as fitting a 225 on the front of an IS with a 9.5" wheel was virtually impossible without destroying my front fenders and being as low as I wanted to be.

Keep in mind I am trying to keep the car static (for now) and tuck some tire all the way around without rubbing the front fenders. Not worried about the rake either as I like the rear to visibly sit a little lower anyways. I'm mounting the tires tomorrow, not worried about the safety aspect too much as I've run a 215/35 on a 9.5" for over a two years on different sets of wheels with no problems, as we've done some pretty insane stretches before.

Do as you please, just don't think it's neccessary. The gs can fit bigger wheels than a 1is. Just giving the advice about load rating because the gs is a heavy car. I had some used 225/35/19 toyo stress crack on me. Then got some brand new federals in the same size and they were stress cracked when i sold the wheels. 225/35/20 achilles worked out for me but i didn't keep the 20s long. I pretty my never rub on my 235 and i only heat gunned the liner.

Have been working on **** all day long...

Made the fronts to x10 +22, rears are still 10.5 +6

Was having trouble with some of the used 225/35's we were using, stepped up to 235/35 for front, rear I am running 245/35.

It's sitting a little more flush than I intended for, going to try to pull the fenders a little more and maybe put the rear a little lower if I can.

Heres updated pictures, lowered the rear a little more, flared rears as much as I could without damaging the quarters, centercaps, few interior things. Car does need a good buffing, possible respray due in the future as well.

JP Curtains F & R
JP Neck pads
JP *** pillows F & R

Along with close up shots of the wheels

Don't mind my photography skills, didn't have a tripod on me at the time. :P
