92 sc400 build
hey guys had time to upload pics and figured i would post my build... its a work in progress but heres what i got so far.....heres the car on the first day...
fresh wash when i first got it ....the interior was half done converting to black when i got it...
first mod i did was get the 97+ conversion... got the front bumper, side skirts, back bumper all on craigslist already black from lexus, so glad i got factory kit ... heres a pic of the car finally after a day or two finished everything installed tires on the wheels i got them on the car... wheels are sevas s55 20x10 20x9... i know 20s are big for the car but i wanted the big wheel look...
next thing was the paint... wasnt all that great ... wasnt glossy so had the car wet sanded and buffed to bring out the shine...
after that ... didnt have to much time on my hands so i figured id just buy a bunch of parts and install all at once... first thing i did was buy some dodge intrepid fog llights for the front bumper got that diy on here on how to make them fit
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...g-install.html
next i went on ebay ... got me some yellow tint... and wrapped the lights
also on ebay got me some 97+ rear tale lights...and 97+ wing..roof wing... also got a front lip.. and some tien coilovers... here are the links to the front lip and roof wing..
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-CUSTOM...f25f7d&vxp=mtr
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-SC-300...1dc133&vxp=mtr
so then came install day...
should of gotten coils from the start... also installed the fogs...and also got the rims painted black in the center..heres when the car was done.. this is at the idls car meet in miami...good turn out
slacked for a couple weeks... then got on my game and installed the front lip rear wing and roof spoiler washed the car and here it is...
heres a pic of the lip installed and the car...
next is interior and performance....
interior i used dupli color vynal and fabric paint and went to work on the dash and everything tan.... also picked up at my local auto parts (advanced auto) some carbon fiber wrap... wrapped all my wood grains with it ... also picked up from driftmotion the stick shift bezal and rigged a push down shift **** (better then the huge stock shiftr) gated shifters are hard to find so settled for this.... autovelanti steering wheel was my first...then found an ISF steering wheel so couldnt pass that up...heres a pic of both... also installed double din tv...and here is the final product
got a good deal on a rod millen exhaust... i read there pretty good quality.. sounds awesome... looks a bit dirty i gotta get under there one of these weekends and polish it...
now that i got the exhaust need the intake to match, after alot of research i found out the bfi intake works well and sounds great and u guys were right sounds amazing and i feel the diffrence heres a pic of it... i also maid a top and side cover to make it like a cold air....im also putting the link i saw it on....
next on my list is spark plugs and wires it..... i want a swap soon so dont need to many mods right now...rather save the money...
