Noisy and wandering LS
Last July I purchased Kumho tires for my car. I had them mounted by a not so great shop. In December I suffered a sudden loss of tire pressure and it was a cracked rim. The tire shop had cracked the rim. I put on the spare and forgot to get the spare fixed. 2 months later I had a flat. Bad tire stem. Drove the car with the flat to the nearest shop and the tire and rim were ruined. I purchased a replacement tire and rim. 2 months ago I rotated the tire and the car started to vibrate at speed and make noise as if the bearings were bad. It also pulled to the left. Took it to a more reputable tire shop today for an alignement. He called me and told me that 3 of my tires were mounted incorrectly. so he is talking them off and remounting and balancing them.
Make sure you check that on your car first.

Its one of those things where you get what you pay for, and tires are so important to how the LS rides and drives.
It'd be Michelin Primacy mounted at a reputable shop for me...

You would like to think mounting tires at a tire shop is a no brainer. I bought my Goodyears at Sears thinking I can check out the gals at the mall and/or shop when my tires are being rotated. I never have problems when the dealer rotates them but at Sears they have not tightened the lug nuts enough twice where it feels like my tranny is going out. First time they told me it was a driveline issue and I crossed the street to the Yota dealer where all they did was tighten the wheels.
Strike one, strike two, strike three?...no before that I am otta there!
