my 99 sc300 3 years in showcase/build thread

Bought her in December and have already put 4k on the clock (I live in a barracks only 1/2 a mile away from work). Plan to keep her relatively stock, only doing small things here and there. Well anyways here she is.

nice cars!

My Girlfriend had a 89 GTU Beretta :) its easy to install a intake in the bumper, after this, the engine feels like really like a V6 :) the original air filter is too small!

I bought the Lexus to have a nice car. I still really like Buritto's. Just because they are not a luxury car doesn't make them any lesser of a car. I prefer the Beretta for local commutes,. The gauge of both cars goes down at about the same rate, but the retta has a 5 gal smaller tank and only needs regular.
I might not look as cool as everyone else, but atleast I'm not driving a corolla.

And boergy, You euro guys always have the nicest berettas, ours always have paint fade/peal or just look like crap in general. The cars do have pep, and my 3.1 5 speed will keep up with my sc.

i need more pics of my twin:)

Thanks!

its was a funny car the beretta, but the original front spoiler was lost from th pre owner :( with the digital gauges it was cool :) but the engine takes water from the cooling system :( both heads are new, the Dealer invested much money after the buy, but he runs never 100% perfect. My Girlfriend changed 2-3 years after the buying from the Beretta to 76er Camaro, also in red :D

Nice pick up. Glad you could finally find a clean one. What does the word base mean? You in the military?

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. I would drive my Corolla any day over being embarrassed in a Beretta. Just saying. Guess I'm just one of those diehard Toyota fans :p

Matter of opinion. Berettas to me are sign of lack of wealth, that you had to "settle" for a car thrown together with drunken engineering and bits made by a fat man in Kentucky named Billy-Jo. But like I said....matter of opinion. It's not my car, so my opinion really is irrelevant.

Carry on! ;)
