Hey everyone, I'd first like to thank everyone on Club Lexus for all the information you've shared and i've benefited from over the years. That being said its finally time I contribute.

I'll start with a back story on the car. I found my 1993 Sc300 on Craigslist for sale as a 5 speed with a engine knock listed for 2000. I drove 5 hours to Denver to check the car out and ended up buying it for 1400 because someone already offered the guy 1300 or so he claimed. It Idle'd fine but after 2500 rpms you could hear a knock. I already had a 96 auto sc300, i'd had for the last 3 years and drove out to Colorado from Miami FL in. I got the 96 car(engine) with 95,000 on the clock and a fresh timing belt in 2012 and it was now 2016 and I was going to a technical college for mechanics.

I took the engine out of my automatic Sc and put it swapped it with the knocking engine in the manual. Mostly so i could enjoy a manual car and i was on a budget but i had Turbo dreams.




I really enjoyed the manual Sc and decided to rebuild the other motor put it in the auto car and sell it to recoup the costs of the manual car.






I ended up selling the Auto sc300 with my Rebuilt motor that i got credit for school doing for 2000. I also swaped the interiors parts to keep the best in my 93 Manual.

At this point i went to school again after getting a job with toyota because they wanted to get me all toyota certified. I bought a XS power turbo kit for 1250 bucks and said lets get boosting!!
I also bought TT head gasket(100), Arp Head studs(100), r134 retrofit kit(150), extra intercooler piping and oil fittings(200) because the XS power kit was alright but missing a few things for it to be how i wanted it.







At this point i knew i needed to do something for engine management and my budget decided for me that i would go Ali's TT ecu mod. I got some 440 cc injectors(400) is300 coils and igniter(150) JDM TT 6 speed ecu (450), Grimm speed boost controller(150), TT denso fuel pump (300).






I got it all running at 15 psi and the car was alot of fun! It had a w58 at this point and the w58 lasted for about 2 and a half years.





ALAS all good things must come to an end. I'm sure some of you have seen my posts about my W58 breaking and my Rear diff breaking. But heres more pics!!





The Torsen LSD out of a TT auto supra with 3.73 gears cost me 800 and only lasted a year an 3 months of abuse. I Drag it Drift it and Daily it lol.




I installed a built r154 i bought for 1400 total 2800 with bellhousing clutch stuff, drive line(used mk3 supra front half stock rear half manual sc300), shifter extension because i didn't want a hole in my daily...




It has a very slight whine in 3rd gear only under very light acceleration, but i havn't had to motivation to take it out and apart again after installing the trans in the car the first time since i still don't have a new differential but i'll be going with an OS Giken because KAAZ said their super Q might break under hard drag launches.
