Default another 1jz big single build

Okay i know every one has seen it before and with better parts but im going to put up my pic any way

My car is a royal jade pearl 92 sc400 with a 1jz swap i decide i wanted to do a budget minded big single build so here it is

I started buy riping the old turbos off which sucks also decided to re do the coil wiring

you can see my megan motor mounts still holding up well

alright now it's time for the parts

THE TURBO
It's a godspeed project t67 70 ar. with the anti surge shroud. Now before any one says good luck with that turbo I went the best possible route for this i bought it direct from gsp you pay more but it come's with waranty. It's not high tech but it works

now the manifold also a cheap one obx that says it all. they wont work for you out the box i have a good welder and reinforced it as well as change the wastegate pipe.

here it is as it came

you also need oil lines and proper fittings

For the down pipe just go too driftmotion you won't go wrong

Fits up well

O2 for my bung hole

Now i've got to tune it so i went with Greddy emanage ultimate got it for $400.00 with a s2k harness. any one need the harness Just change the pins and where golden

Went straight to thrust for the harness

And installed

Now at this time i got a new raidiator as well and installed a new transcooler

Now i dont have install pic but it was staright foward if you can't figure out how to put this all together by now you should be having a mechanic do yours

This is a pic of me testing everything

You can see how my wastegate has been moved don't worry it's close but doesnt hit

I then tighten every thing down checked for leaks and did my first start up

here video
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...type=2&theater

It had to be driven to a friends house i have no power in my garage and i have no laptop

I took this one of every one standing around it and just so youknow i drove it hood less and open dp We also took the time to make sure the coils where all working right

You're off to a great start with the 1JZ...looks good! On a side note, I would be worried about the ICP coupler getting too hot against those valve covers tho? Overall good job! Thx for sharing...

I bet the hood doesn't close with that wacky pipe routing. why didn't you just clock the turbo down and space it up?

never seen anyone route pipe that way. you should of used that coupler the other way and rotated the turbo downwards.

interesting to see how this is completed.

this.

you will kill that turbo pretty quickly with the oil lines clocked sideways like that. you need to have them straight up and down

otherwise looks pretty good
