Well got some small stuff done today. I replaced the dash lights (freakin' connectors in the back are a PITA), I did an oil change, re-oiled the air filter, and removed the front grill. I also went to Auto Zone and grabbed some black caliper paint, rear brake pads because of the locking caliper, and new fog lights. I will put the fogs in when the new HID's come. Hopefully tomorrow I can paint the calipers and install the new rear pads. Here are some quick pictures!

Took me forever to get out!!!

New chinese LED's. ( Do not buy them from China, only one out of every 5 works. haha ) I will post pics of dash lit up at night some time...

Now before you guys comment on the 4x4 stance, new Supra TT suspension is coming Monday. So enjoy the pictures!

Yes it is.... ^^^^^^^

I bought my LEDs from superbrightleds.com. Work great, no problems, been maybe two years or so.

On the back of the connectors for the cluster, I broke the middle plastic tab out on each of three plug ins. This assured me that I won't have the same problem again on trying to wiggle those suckers out. They are secured very well, and it doesn't ever come unplugged once pushed in. Just a thought.

Yeah, I broke off all those tabs in the back so I would never have any issues again as well. I will probably order LEDs from there as soon as mine start to bother me. More pics tonight after work. Did some more small stuff today.

Well here are some more pics! Today I painted the brake calipers, and put on new brakes, along with a small detail. It's looking good! Tomorrow suspension comes, hopefully I finish that before it gets dark so you guys get pics.

Dash lights before work this morning, yes that's 3:40 AM. I work on a dairy farm. There are hot spots, but oh well.

Caliper's painted. I had one tough time getting some of those off that haven't been taken off before.

They were red before and looked like crap!

I'm debating whether to dremel off the tabs in the bottom of the grill where the grill mounts to. I painted them black so they're hard to notice, but I probably will never have the grill back in again. What do you guys think?

I say leave the grille off in my opinion. Thats just my .02. I cant wait to see this thing dropped on some TT struts and springs. It will make the whole car look different and drive better in the curves. I would also replace the top hats or strut mounts while I had them tore out. Just a piece of mind.

Yeah, I always liked the look of the 95 front without the grille. I was also debating about the top hats.... I will see if I can find some tomorrow before I get home and pick them up.

I say leave that lower grill off, looks better. Also good call on painting the calipers black instead of some bright color. I never understand why people want to draw attention to tiny stock brakes lol.

Yeah, I think I will dremel off the tabs soon. And I agree on the brakes. They were hideous red before, and it just makes for a cleaner look when they are black or gray. I am happy with the choice.

^^^ Thanks guys. I'm working on a tight budget for this build, so I'm trying to do it cheaper, but still keep it right. It's getting there!

Well no pictures today. Just got done putting on the front. I didn't get home til 4, and had to run and get spring compressors because they didn't come with top hats. I looked for new top hats at some local auto stores, but none had any in stock. I didn't start til about 5, and since the suspension was never taken off before, it was some hard work getting it off. I do have pics of the suspension out of the box though...

The guy told me they only had 1000 miles on the struts, and they haven't been on a car for a little bit. How long does it take for suspension to usually set in? When the front was all said and done, it looks about the stock height still.... Either way, I will do the rears tomorrow which should be much easier, and have some pics then!
