They are. I've gotten to the point the first person crosses the TN/GA line and hands me $250 can have the damn engine. LOL. I'm never gonna need it.

lol.I hear you. You probably will never need it. I have seen an SC400 with over 500k miles and still running. If only I wasn't decided to drop in a 2jzgte on this sc400 I could have grabbed it from you. It had been a while now since I had that obsession of having a 2jzgte on an SC, even before I had my Supras.
In fact I already ordered the JDM Supra 6 speed swap I will use. Will just use the engine and not the 6 speed tranny since am planning to keep the car with an auto tranny.

I have heard SC300 with rod knock too... It sounded like the car was going to blow up, it was really loud.

An A340 built by BL which was in one of the Auto TT supra I once had. So it should handle the power I am aiming for on this daily beater.

thanks , it is a 1992 SC400 with 129k miles but I guess they havent been maintaining the engine well. Those 1uzfe were indestructible as far as I know.
