Moosejaw's 98' SC300 Build
#31
Pole Position
iTrader: (8)
19 x 9.5 & 10.5 et 22
When i first bought them this spring, they werent too many examples of SC300 fitments on the web. I could not find a decent picture of how they looked with the +22 offset. When i mounted it, it didnt look like it was going to work. Someone did tell me the wheel would tuck in. But then again I didnt want something that aggressive. Its a real killer on the wallet when you trying to ball in three different vehicle. I wanted something simpler.
Plus the issue with the Supra Brake Clearance bothered me. Thus i sold them for more than i paid for.....so it wasn't a total loss.

Well this weekend i finally had new control arms installed in the front
The last lca wouldnt come off, we had to take a rotozip to it and cut it down.
But what a difference! The car raised over 1/2 inch by replacing both pairs of UCAs/LCAs alone . On top of that now the wheels sit flush with the fenders with a little bit of poke. I had it aligned but now it rubs on highway onramps and dips on the roads. Im going to have go back and have the camber dialed in 1-2 degrees. It didnt rub before, but i was going through front tires every 3000 miles. Im curious to see what the offset on these sears rims are.

Just brought it back home with a new paint job so now the car has officially doubled in value.
It was unexpected but i had a mild fender bender which prompted me to just paint the whole thing and get it done with. No more clearcoat peeling off, front and rear bumpers are fixed and it really looks spectacular. Hopefully this weekend i'll get around to doing a better photoshoot when sunlight is better. Left the emblems off
