Default ProjectGS: My GS-F Build Thread (Goto Pg 4, ton of new pix!)

So, I've been trying to build a GS-F. Basically how I think a GS with high performance trim should of came from the factory. Slowly but surely it's coming along.

I'll be updating this as I go. Trying to finish up the car here in a week to make it to SEMA, but we'll see if I can meet the timetable or not.

IS-F Seats install and fabrication of brackets.

The real PITA is getting all the seat motors and electronics to work together!

Wiring and diagrams...fun stuff. Did you know the IS-F seats wiring diagram is like 10 pages long? lol!

Brackets fabricated, test fitting in car.

Some goodies going in the engine.

Here's the fun part. Building a custom front facing intake manifold

From an old project. I sucked really bad at welding and fabrication back then. I'm a little better now. I'm not expert by any means, just no longer a hack job lol. Cutting off the old nasty welded runners here.

Done, now time to make a new backing plate.

Finished new backing plate and test fitting it a spare GS. The car this is going in doesn't have a motor right now.

Welded on the runners and bored the holes.

It took me 5 hours of cutting and grinding to get to this point!

Chamfered all the intake runners for better air flow into the engine.

Bead blasted everything. Time to weld the end tank back on.

Yes I have a big blast cabinet in my garage lol.

More updates to come in the following days. New built motor going in car as well
