If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to get the whole thing repainted?

1300 polished, wet sanded, and a 7 year warranty. I also just got my finance papers from my bank. We actually paid 26,890 for the car.

It cost you just $1,300 to have the entire thing repainted?? That's insane. I paid $600 just to have my front & rear bumpers repainted!

And you got a great deal on the car, because even after all the work you still paid way less than it's actually worth.

Looks great by the way!

Thanks for the compliments!!! I have a hookup with the owner of the shop. It sat there for a while.

Apparently the 2010 IS-F doesn't have the little white connectors used by these scuff plates.

Do the older IS-F have this connector? how do others get them to work on 2010+ models?

Sorry if I am hijacking your thread.

I have the set off of my IS-250 they are in perfect flawless condition (they glow blue) if anyone is interested, they are just sitting in my garage. They are identical to the ones accidently installed by Lexus onto my IS-F.

Repaired the stock wheels
Hey Sarge, just curious, how did you repair the stock wheels? Did you do it yourself, and if so how... and if you got them done, how much did you pay?

Thanks! My wheels need some TLC...

You can do it yourself with patience. Ive done one complete wheel, and just touched up the other three.

I will write up a how-to when I do the other three. The hardest part is taking off the tire. The paint code is 1E3, and it can be purchased anywhere as Toyota paint.
