Hahaha I honestly have no interest in volvos...I just like the body style of the Amazon, and its a super rare car around here. The desire to be different I guess!

A lil update for you guys.....

Yay paint.

Ok....it has finally rolled out of the shop sprung on its own springs. ***** what a great feeling.

Camaro hydraulic slave with custom line and quick disconnect:

Thanks to Francis Andrew.....motor parts look a little classier, the wiring and fuel rails will be cleaned up, I just wanted to see what it looks like:

Got the last touches finished to get this thing out the door, the whole interior, trunk, undercarriage and pretty much everything that I've touched is now John Deere Blitz Black.....

And off to the Independent Speed Shop! Should be almost read to drive in a week or two.

Its lots a bit of weight from its SC400 days....

Parts to make it turn.....

Wires, hydraulic ebrake, all new brake lines and....its almost ready to run.

Huge props for an awesome build sir.

Let me say that I am not a suspension guy, so these are just questions.

One, is that the suspension travel looks to be nearly maxed just sitting static. Will there be sufficient remaining travel to articulate? And, even if it has enough physical travel, is the geometry going to be okay at such extreme travel?

Also, I was looking at the front coilover mounts, and it seems that they are hanging way out into space without much meat to reinforce them. With all the forces that will inevitably be concentrated on that single point combined with the leverage created by the mount hanging so far off the frame, do you think there is enough structure there to carry it?

All good points....

Suspension isn't setup at all, I just tightened the coils up enough to get it rolling, it is way too low in the front especially, when all is said and done the lower control arms will be very close to level.

Coilover mounts will be tied to the frame on the outside edge, or connected over the motor. But that said, even as is in a car I wouldn't be concerned about it for normal use, I also build trucks that jump and know this style of mount will take a lot of abuse before the tube starts cracking.

Since it will be raced, and driven hard...I will make it stronger for sure.
