All good points....
Suspension isn't setup at all, I just tightened the coils up enough to get it rolling, it is way too low in the front especially, when all is said and done the lower control arms will be very close to level.
Coilover mounts will be tied to the frame on the outside edge, or connected over the motor. But that said, even as is in a car I wouldn't be concerned about it for normal use, I also build trucks that jump and know this style of mount will take a lot of abuse before the tube starts cracking.
Since it will be raced, and driven hard...I will make it stronger for sure.

I have seen Mark's badass '75 Corolla with SC400 suspension and engine, as well as Barry Duplessis in Australia who went the same route as I did and he did amazing job fitting the whole chassis under a '57 chevy.
Video from last night.....first attempt starting the 1UZ with a Haltech Sprint 500....this is literally just Bill plugging in the ecu, adding trigger specs and whatever else he entered in about 5 minutes on the laptop....

Anything cool, unique, race inspired, old and blue collar. I have a 1950 Chevy fleet line on airbags, I would love a built sc400 drift machine, but I think I'm drawn to making old **** boxes drive and handle like new cars. I love Toyota, I've had a plethora of Toyota trucks, but there's something about the 1uzfe that makes me happy, I have a feeling I will be stuffing them in various vehicles for years to come.

Corporate ***** day:
Some of Bill at Independent Speed shops work....making me nice brake lines, plumbing and wiring everything. Dash is not installed so all the switches and buttons are just dangling.
Hydraulic Hand Brake, I need to make the lever next:
