Default 1992 "Tired of all my dailys turning into project cars" SC300/1JZGTE

Hey Guys,

Well, it finally happened. I did it. It only took, like 10 years to accomplish but I did it. and It feels good.

Frankly, all the 4 cylinder cars I ever had were fun, don't get me wrong. Hondas, Mitsubishis, Nissans. Some were better then other's (But Definately *NOT* the Mitsubishis, god I hate 90's Mitsubishi/American engineering), but I digress. Talking about previous 4 cylinder cars, let alone 4 cylinder cars in general is moot at this point of my life.
This wasn't the last 4g63 I would build. Look how excited I am!

Toyota always seemed like an incredible compromise to me. Camry or MKIV Supra? There was no grey area. Japan gets all the good turbo cars, and we get cheeseburgers to punch into our fat faces.

Well It's time for the most perfect street car build to evar exist!!1

I present to you, "Beat to $--- SC!"

I'm really excited converting to Toyota, I hope it will last for a long time.

Love,
Nick

Thanks for the kind words!

No fanciness, I need a daily driver that I can drive without wanting to punch myself in the face.

So after I finish up the dash wiring, FMIC, and exhaust. I will upgrade the car like so.

-Body/Paint work

-"Sport" coilovers with rubber inserts. It's still a daily. I think the Megan EZ's will do.

-18" wheels

-Stereo work

-Interior work (Steering wheel, Seats, panels, etc)

Then, finally enjoy driving a nice car for at least a full year! (It's been 7 years since I could say that)

DSM's are garbage, even if it had a toyota 4 cylinder, it's still a kids car. 6 cylinders are for people who wanna put their big boy pants on!

I've had my fun with them, thats for sure. Especially when we get the typical 12" plus snow storms.

And that video with the RWD burnout, it's an AWD VR4. It broke that day into RWD. DSM's are synonymous with "breaking".

I will have an update soon on the SC!

For what you're wanting I think you picked the perfect car! Besides my grand national my coupe is my favorite daily I've had and I'm just now getting around to boosting it.

I've had some dsm fun in the snow too... and outrunning cops haha

Dude you have a GN!? That's like my dream car can I see some pics? Sorry I know it's a Lexus forum lol. And if your outrunning the law in the SC I can just imagine what you do in the 3.8 with that fat turb on it!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

GN's are really cool!
One time I did a rear main seal on one, only removing the exhaust, and oil pan. Pretty cool.

But next up the car will return to me. I will install the FMIC, and get all the wiring and dash functions running.
