GTR Midnight Purple Soarer 3.0-T Build Thread
Here it is, my project for what's left of the winter. Built in Japan for drag, this beast is going to be used primarily as a sideways queen on the track.
This car's been tuned for 800ps in Japan, not sure what octane used to get those numbers. I have plans to get it professionally tuned this coming spring by one of the most north american renownd inline 6 tuners (right now a toss up between Justin Nenni @ tuning concepts and Mike from Insane speed).
Here`s a list of the current mods (internal engine specs unclear):
Body:
Vertex Knock-off Body kit (one of the skirts is backwards)
GTR Metallic Midnight Purple paint
Roof Spoiler
Shaved Emblems
Flared rear fenders
Folded front fenders
FRP Hood and hood pins
Suspension:
Tein Master Flex Coilovers
Aftermarket rear x-member bushings
Aftermarket rear diff mounts
Brakes and Handling:
MKIV supra brakes up front, stock in rear
Slotted rotors
Work XD9 bronze rims 18x10 rear +38 offset, 18x9 up front
Drift use handbrake button

Bride Reclining racing seats

Plans:
Get it tuned and Dyno`d
Clean up Engine bay (repaint Cam covers, Spark cover, Stainless lines, etc)
Rear 92 Spoiler (not sure I like the spoilerless option)
Change out suspension to Stance coilovers or PBS (which ever is better stiffness)
Flush power steering fluid, service steering rack
Brake flush and new fluid replaced
Brake pads replaced with EBC
Rear MKIV calipers and slotted rotors
Swap out rims with Silver Volk GTCs
Possibly new Origin full body kit installed (in the future)
Possibly gut the interior for a full cage install (in the future)
Any opinions and suggestions welcomed This will be a slowly updated build thread as I`m quite busy lately.
