And moving forward. Turbo is currently pending. Finally found an LQ 6.0l block trying to get my hands on, and picking up my Fast 102 this weekend.
As of right now, considering ditching the SC chassis for something much lighter..still up on the air on this though. I like the design of the SC, but really not ideal for my plans/goals. May find a stock one later on for a daily if I ditch this one.

As much as I would love to go with an FD, too high dollar for me. Actually looking at Fox bodies as I have seen the coupes down in the 2400lbs race weight range with iron LQ blocks, driver, fuel etc. Only considering it at the moment..but the thought is there.

Ali- even the rollers goes for $9000 lol, they are very expensive cars even with a blown engine..
Mustang will be his best bet..even the 240SX are very expensive a clean shell.

Most of the FD's here are high dollar ($9K+), the FC's range from $3000+. But I have been finding Fox shells from $1500-$2500, and a couple with aftermarket K-members, coils etc. for about $4000-4500.

you must be thinking about the FD, the FC is the older boxy one a roller is no more than a few K I thought like a 240. the FC is heavier factory than the FD, but it can be stripped down. 240sx is always good. I am sure the fox body would work great also they are more setup for drag and handling power right away. I still like the SC with the LSX combo the best that turbodremz has put together.

Oh dont get me wrong, I love my SC...but I put her on a diet, and she's still fat The idea behind the Fox body is sort of a push back to the muscle cars that I feel more at home with. An S13 coupe would be great, but still doesnt have the engine bay room of a fox, and I think the FC bay is comparable to the S13. Im still planning on boost much later on, but it will be easier to layout (and have more airflow) in the Mustang than the SC, FC, or S chassis.

Only thing I dont like about it, is it been beat to death already. Then again, so have LSx swaps in general
Not a fan of Celica's. IF by chance I was to ever opt for a Porsche, it would have to be a GT3 RS. But the pre-88 944 were pretty light. The 88+ start in the 2900lbs range, which is still a major improvement over the SC.
Right now its all waiting till I find out if my family and I are moving out of Houston. So major car work is on hold at the moment as I dont feel like towing this thing again unless its to the track, or a junk yard.
