Eventually, but for now it will have to do as it sits. Main thing is moving the radiator forward 2.5'', make the manifolds, and figure out where to fit the 5'' downpipe

Just go straight up into the air Semi-style, that's what the 5" piping is meant for right

When I get my cross members made I'll send you a pic and we might be able to work something out to help with clearance

I had thought about going through the hood, but out the side of the front bumper seems a little more street friendly.

Issue Im having with clearance is between the manifolds and the actual frame, there is only about 3-3/4'' clearance. But shoot me the pics and measurements from side of the manifold to the frame/shock tower.

Shouldn't be to hard just cut the bumper first then pipe through the hole mark it with a marker and cut it

That's how I would do it

Things just got serious Chris!!

If i were you i will just pick up an ecu that does ff and dump so e85 in there , ill will make your setup very reliable and not have to worry about detonation.

Get that lq4 and make 900wtq lol , easy on these engine that's why it's my favorite V8 engine..

Im thinking about doing the lq9 or the LY6 with S376- 80mm!!

What clutch are you running? These twin discs are cheaper than any twins disc i have ever seen.

How much are you in this setup so far? give or take.

I'm thinking of buying a cheapo sc shell and putting a 6.0l motor as soon as I'm done with my sc.

Yeah they did lol. No need to change the PCM for E85, just a few adjustments on the stock LS1 ecu with HP Tuners and it will run Flex no problem, but Im going to push it as far as possible on pump to retain some of my fuel mileage. I should be ok to daily the car on pump with 15* timing @ 15psi with the water/meth injection. And with an average of 22-25hp per psi, thats good for daily. Oh and as for the S376, too small for the LSx engines, you need to look at the S400 series. You can run twin S366 or twin S376..but for single, you need a larger turbo for these. The S475 is 48.5lbs (and a true 74.8mm compressor wheel), I weighed mine out of the box today just to verify. It pretty much dwarfs the Greddy T88-34D.

As for the LQ4, that will come along when the aluminum 5.7 gives up. Clutches, Ive been looking at a few, but leaning towards the McLeod RXT with SFI flywheel. Rated to 1000hp, and should still be easy on the left leg and its under $1500.

Into the turbo portion, not too much actually. Got the S475 on a labor day sale that knocked off another $150 ( ), and my 31x12x4 fmic and 3'' pipes with the HKS bov didnt cost me anything except a bit of labor on a customers car. Misc items from here will be about another $2500+/-, but will get me well into the 650+rwhp range, and everything except the block and stock rear diff should hold to the 800hp mark. Ill be making my own turbo manifold, so that will knock the cost down a bit, but going with a custom grind cam so unclear of the exact cost on that.

I can only imagine at this point. Its a blast as it is now being n/a, but looking forward to boosting again.

I'll help you find one, and get you a full list of parts you need to do the swap.

Thanks. And all it takes is a bit of time and dirty/bloody hands to get that mechanical touch.

Chris my Tuner is Big GM and DSM guy, He has been begging me to get the LY6 and let him do his magic on it.

S376 is the same as the your S475! different people call it different names.

They are all t4 frames Turbos, not T6.

You right i have seen couple S366 Twin setups , but I really don't like Twin setups.

I got couple pricing on this stuff and it actually cheaper than build than the JZs stuff..

LY6 motor , Harness , ecu $2500
Tr6060 brand new $3000
Motor mount $800
Clutch MC leod twin $1600
Injectors $1000
DS $500
Cross pipe for Turbo $800
LS9 HG $90
Misc $1000
Cam Comp $350
flex Fuel Sensor kit $110
Weldon FP regulator $200.

I have been tinking about the idea for a longtime so i may just pull the trigger

I can't wait till you install that turbo!
