2Gen GS300...LS2 6-Speed Build Thread

car looked hammered, before he touched it.
my guess beginning of next year I will start the S/C.
Thank you! It was quite a transformation. I hope more people go the LSx swap. I have let 2 people drive my car and they are already looking for GS's to do the swap
It drives like the motor belongs in the car, just how it should and the car is a beast when you get on it!

Do a retro fit also nice touch for improved lighting

I honestly don't like the projector retro. too many people rocking tawain projectors and kills it for the real ones. I have factory HID bowls and happy with it.

The car looks great and the swap is sick!
The ONLY ONLY reason why I don't think I personally would ever go down this road is because I feel the car would sound too much like a muscle car or hot rod. I like when luxury / sport sedans sound rather civilized during normal driving but sound beastly at WOT. This thing would probably sound like your at the dragstrip at all times...especially if you have an aggressive exhaust. High performance...no doubt! and I'm sure you will mop the floors against many HP cars but it is "starting" to veer away from being what a Lexus GS is IMHO.
I commend you for your great work and pioneering though...it takes guts, skill and money to do something like this. I too can't wait to see videos! Perhaps it will be more "civilized" than I think it would be during casual driving. Then this would be a very cool swap for more power.
BTW, any check engine lights? What OEM "features" did you lose if any when going with this LSx swap? I am not going to search through 12 pages for this info. lol
