So I took a quick trip to MAP for just 3 dyno pulls. Since I'd never been on the RavenWorks dyno before, I didn't really know how it read in comparison to other dynos. I made 545hp at RavenWorks on their SuperFlow. Bob estimated that'd be 570 or so on a DynoJet. So I went to MAP to see for myself.
Car made 561hp / 471tq on MAP's DynoJet. It was a considerably hotter day out, and in the dyno room. So I think Bob's estimate was about right, about a 5% difference. Best pull attached. Scanner is being a bastard so hard to see the lines.

Operation redo interior is underway. Most of this will get done over the winter, but I've started a couple little things as well as started accumulating parts. Basically I'll be redoing the interior to either black, or a black / brown combo (kinda like seen in some bimmers). And as previously mentioned, will also be fitting in some different (lighter) front seats.
So far I've purchased and installed new black floor mats, black armrest, and black rear view mirror. I purchased new interior door panels since mine are not in good shape. Anything that is broken I'm buying replacements. Otherwise I'm just going to try dying the rest with SEM.

Some pics a fellow SC'er took of my car at a local meet today. Thought they were probably the best pics anyone has taken of my car. Wish I had camera skills. Big thanks David for the awesome pics! FYI wheels are plastidipped Anthracite metallic currently. Not sure if I'm digging it, may re-dip them in their silver metallic instead.

Purchased a set of Corbeau LG1's (black cloth) that should arrive in a couple weeks! I chose these because I was looking for a balance between Weight, Comfort, Cost, quality. Corbeau usually makes a seat that's more budget friendly than the other big names, while still maintaining quality standards. The LG1's are regarded as one of the most comfortable seats offered by Corbeau, this is still a Lexus after all not a real race care! And they weigh a fraction of the stockers. I could have gotten some cheapo ebay ones for a better price, but I think I'd be sacraficing quality and possibly comfort. I could have gotten some Sparco Milano's but that'd be coming at a big price. So I think this was the perfect choice for my goals.
This ended up happening a little sooner than I planned (planned to do this over the winter), but I have plans to go to the track in about a month and I would like to take advantage of the weight savings.
So, ditch both heavy *** front seats which weight about 75lbs each from what I've gathered. Replaced with these which are 26lbs each + maybe 10lbs for each bracket. Overall that's right around 78lbs shaved off the car in street form which I think is awesome. At the track I'll remove the passenger side so that'll actually be another 36lbs removed for a total of about 114lbs saved in track form. That's like removing a small person, I think I will definitely feel the difference!
I will try to weight the components I take out, and the new ones I'm putting in so I have more accurate numbers.
Trying to think of some other areas I could reduce the weight without sacraficing the quality/comfort of the car much. Things like a CF Hood, but for the price it doesn't seem like you actually save a ton of weight. $700 to save maybe 15lbs I'm guessing? Doesn't seem like I'd notice that reduction much, so not sure it's really a good use of money at this point.

Lexus Champion
small stuff you can do is remove the trunk and hood liners, rear seat belts if no one will ever sit there and the false floor brackets underneath the carpet under the bottom seat cushion. those are the only things i can think of that are completely unnecessary, for me at least.
