As more than a passing observer I would like to congratulate Ryan for going so far to prove me wrong, I was always of the opinion that a V8-TT would not be possible without loosing the A/C compressor (having discounted the Lextreme way of TT'ing the V8 as impractical, impressive but impractical).
While people are screaming for figures from the stock engine they will be of little worth, would you really want to spend that much time, effort and money for the figures available from low boost when it is capable of so much more?
Very well done Ryan it is going to be an absolute dream car when it is finally finished but my true admiration goes to the guys who did the pipe bending, take a bow guys.

Bill, this TT project has awakened the beast within...and it is not even tuned yet, or running at any boost worth mentioning....I can hardly keep my gonads intact, waiting for this beast to be truly unleashed...

Ryan has come across the real issue with such a project, unless you are capable of doing it yourself like Lextreme (and have a fully tooled workshop for fabrication) then you have to put your faith in others which can always be troublesome (I have had 5 gardeners in 2 years and the garden still looks a mess!)
Having built the first 'Hybrid Turbo' 1JZ Soarer in the UK, a relatively simple task in comparison to that undertaken by Ryan and Frank, I went to a couple of UK 'tuners' with a V8 Soarer and asked them about adding turbo's. Most simply said 'the door is over there - leave now before I set the dog on you', the best offer I had was to add a belt driven Vortex charger (again, hardly worth the effort and expense for the returns).
It's not just the major stumbling block of getting the headers to fit that have made this project, the attention to detail in all areas is just simply superb, many others (including me) would have cut corners just get the thing finished.

I haven't had time to stop by the shop lately...Too busy with life and work. Also, Frank has been to busy to get to work on it either, so, haven't stopped by...
The BL tranny is completed, and will ship out to me next week. The engine is done. I will pick it up next week. The fuel system is being worked on...I hope to have a resolution within the next 3 weeks, or so...I can then install the Engine management, and TUNE this baby.... I picked up a second oil pan from Lextreme...This one will be chemically cleaned, and then prepared and welded correctly for the motor swap.
Nothing else for now...Looking forward to getting this baby done....
