Well Gang, it has been a little while since I posted up anything...I want to update you on where we are...
I trailered my car over to my friends house where he has lots more room than I do, and no HOA to complain.... The engine and transmission are now out. The process to reassemble the new motor, and swap the almost new parts from the stock engine to the new engine begins next week Monday. I hope to have the engine and tranny swap completed by mid April, then the car goes off to paint, then the reveal...If all goes well, May will be the reveal...It has been over 2 years.

LONG thread... spent most of the day at work reading it!
Very impressive work Ryan, I have seen a lot of cool things, but this just about takes the cake...
I know you are going for exclusivity, but would you be against an abbreviated right up of how you did under the hood? I have been researching doing this my self, but everyone only writes about the I6, and your thread thoroughly convinced me to go V8. The major exception is I am going reverse of you. I am starting with the engine build... (Thats the old school in me... ) That in its self will take me a few months as I am a family man I am wanting to stick with the "All Throttle, No Bottle" plan and I think your design would give me more then enough ponies to play with...
But I am where you were 2.5 years ago, in the planning stages. I am wanting to do a '98 that I have my eye on...
Very anxiously awaiting RWHP/TQ Dyno numbers!

Thanks, CableMonke, I appreciate your compliments. I will do an abbreviated writing as soon as this is done. Main thing to do is make sure that you get a good fabricator. If not, your headaches will be many tim...

I do have one question, is there one year better then another? I am not really seeing it being said, and I like the looks of the '98, but I am just curious from an engines stand point.

-Coil on plugs (no distributors; each spark plug gets its own coil)
-Redesigned intake manifold
