Yeah they shipped me a 2.5" inlet muffler by mistake. I hope the replacement comes in time to do the exhaust this weekend. It won't be anything fancy, just a 3" catback with a Megan N1 muffler.

Nice build, just read through the whole thing. the rebuild seems solid and impressive that you got that much work done so far. really like the color combo and the tt wheels fit very nicely. keep up the good work.

Thank you sir Today I finished my 3" cat back. For now, it is straight pipe with zero muffler My new muffler should be in by Monday I hope. Although, I kinda like the raw sound the straight pipe makes, so I am not sure if I want to even put a muffler on it at all...It must be my inner redneck, shining forth :P

Thanks! It's neither. Just plain old aluminized mild steel. I'm not baller enough for stainless, aluminum, or TIG

It's an old canon elf style camera, nothing fancy.

Regarding the aluminum, yeah it's not to bad, but my mig is not set up for it. If I had to take the car somewhere and pay for someone else to fab the exhaust, the cost is suddenly very high. I have well under $100 in it as it is. If I put the muffler on, it will still be under $200 total.

Gotta pinch Pennies bro, wife is in school and has not worked in over a year now

Camera take alot of nice pics and vids!

$100 is very very very good price compare to what paid to have mine done, but mine is dual.It sounds and looks very nice for $100.

There is nothing wrong with what you did, You have other priorities!

I think i am going to hunt down a junk rear bumper. I have some plans for closing the tailpipe cutout on the passenger side.

Ok, I have some bumper parts on the way, and plan to close the pass side cutout. Anywho, the wife was complaining about how loud the car was, so I decided to give the muffler a shot. Probably a good idea since I work at the county seat and drive right past the jail/sheriff's office and a state trooper office like 3 times a day

It is a little quieter, but I think I like the subtle look of the black 3" pipe poking out over the big canister. I will probably go with a resonator after the cat and ditch the muffler again in the future.

Don't mind the water spraying out, I just washed the car. Also, ignore my squeaky antenna
