Thanks, appreciate that.

I didn't too much upgrading yet. Just bought a few small things from Japan.

JP neckpads n fusa.
Changed my headunit from AVHP-4200DVD to
AVHX-8500BHS
I was so happy to finally get the OEM radio faceplate and brackets.
It worth the money people.
Still have LS rotors hanging, LED inner tails, extra shrouds(probably gonna sell them)
and other small crap.

Changed the map leds to COBB leds, soooo much brighter.

more to come.....(suspension parts finally)

Nice work. You never changed the cluster lights? Are you gonna wrap the faceplate?

Log 6-25-14
Purchased Megan Coilovers EZs couple months ago and just recieved Megan Lower Control Arms for a great deal. Figured I'll do proper review on them.
The unboxing was pretty tight. They both packaged really well. The control arms are heavy. The coils are descent. I know I have to check the damper by hand unscrewing the silver nut under the dial. Then using a 17mm socket, you can tighen the bolt that usually cause a banging noise in the engine bay.
Later I should be receiving the toe links and lateral links for the rear.
Had some Zedd wheels but sold them because it wasn't the look I was going for.

I'm actually going to remove all the interior wraps and try a different color. I'm going to send the cluster to Tanin Electronics once I finish the suspension work.

Last week I Installed Power Stop K1079 Front/Rear Ceramic Brake Pad and Cross Drilled/Slotted Combo Rotor One-Click Brake Kit fro Amazon. Had a seized front caliper and rotors were done. This combo isn't bad for the price. I have confidence in braking during spirited driving. I know the cross drilled slotted is just for looks but i like it. Next time I'll opt for blank rotors instead, just wanted to have this look for once.

I already have a thread on this but I wanted to mention here.

"Folks that was always curious on how to mirror there phone to an aftermarket headunit. Well there's a few ways of doing that. I particularly chose one of the hardest ones to install but it was worth it at the end.

What was used:
Headunit: AVHX-8500BHS
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3
Model: SPH-L710
OS: Rooted Stock ROM 4.4.2
Baseband: L710VPUNDND8
Kernel: 3.0.31-2034598
Build: KOT49H.L710VPUNDND8
Launcher: Atom Launcher

ARliberator Settings :
ARliberator version 3.01
Auto Connect
Autostart PlayerPro
Car Mode Off
Auto Screen Standby doesn't work for my S3 update it does work now
update SELinuxModeChanger to permissive works on S3 "

"Saved for future post"

Samsung Galaxy S5 with AR Unchained

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2725140

UPDATE
This is the link to help folks that want to root and install custom kernel on your samsung device.

When your phone reboots, you should see the Google logo flash upon your screen
Once that's done, check your "About Device" on your phone.

"Kernel Version"
3.4.0 The Governaa

"Build Number"
RODT v1.1 ND2

MOST IMPORTANT FOR SAMSUNG USERS
"SE for Andriod Status"
Permissive

Reason being so important, Samsung have their personal security feature called KNOX
You need it to be off or "Permissive" so you can use the touch screen cabablities on your
mobile headunit.

I don't have the current link to get AppRadio Unchained "ARU" (which is free app) but you can get the paid app ARLiberator which does the same thing from the Playstore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...iberator&hl=en
For ARU app:
just click the app, it will try to turn on your bluetooth, once your phone/tablet connect with your headunit. Plug your device with a OFFICIAL Samsung MHL adapter (sold separately). Once connected, your device should automatically rotate landscape mode. Then your done, you should have touch screen access.
For ARL app:
Have your device bluetooth connected
Click the app, Use the diagnostic feature
The app will automatically make it into landscape mode
if everything checks green, you should connect the device to the MHL adapter

If you run into problems, just PM me.
I can troubleshoot some of the normal problems. If its over my head, I'll direct you to the proper channels.

I'll get a video asap. #Busylife
