Fin covers really have no purpose but to conceal the colored parts underneath. Doesn't apply for cars already Black. Do you have the part number for those fin covers? Thanks

Hy!
last weekend, i installed with a friend the whiteline power steering rack bushings. not easy to change the upper bushing! but with a 32mm nut and a 8mm screw and many time, was it possible
the steering feels a little bit more direct as before
I hope, i can change this weekend the timingbelt on my car And next week modify the middle part of the exhaust! 
Today, i cleaned the volk´s and tomorrow comes the tyres for mounting

Chilly is 2,5 years old and a belgian sheperd out of a working line (no show dog) my girlfriend works with her every day (agility, tracking, protective service...) a very good dog, but sometimestoo crazy and loves to run over cars!

so, its a nice weather today, i start with timing belt changing

Last weekend, i changed with a friend the timing belt on a V8 engine is new for me (after 2JZ/3S/1G...) but not difficult
My car have today 20600 miles, not more, but the belt is 15 years old.

Old timing belt:
fixed the crankshaft screw with the impact driver, not many space, but enough after remove the hose for the fan
old belt:
new one:
i removed the water hoses, and i was scared, if i pull up the water hose, water comes from the plastic terminal on the engine! nit much, but enough to see it. i removed the terminal and checked it.
mh.... the thermostat have the only gasket for this part
ok, gho safety, i give extra a silicon copper paste to have 100% seal.
after the changing of the timing belt and tensioner i fixed all removed parts back

But i do one failure. on the driver side ignition distributor, i mistooked the plugs and connected the input to a output the cars runs not normal, only 800 rpm´s on idle (cold) and OBD failures (misfire....)
i checked before the ignition distributor, all ok, and i see, th einput und connected correct after this, the engine runs like new 
camshaft side
inside ignition distributor
correct wired
the cooling water lookes after 15 years like new
Today, i received the front tyres! i think, on wednesday, i can fit the wheels! tomorrow is in austria a official holiday and nobody mount tyres
