That is the steering wheel mounted cruise controls that you see in the ashtray.. I took a switch from a different year, tore it down to the circuit board, and modified it to fit into the ashtry and function 100%. I saw here on CL how someone fabbed an Apexi Neo into the ashtray of a GS4.. I LIKE! Eventually, I want to do the same thing.. I dont smoke cigarettes, so therefore the ashtray is nothing more than a change bucket for me anyhow..
yeah the citys look great.

odd place to put the cruise controls, wouldnt be easiest place to get to them

i bought a relay harness and wiring from a CL vendor on here but it didnt work. i really only had a problem with start up. sometimes one of my fogs would light up, sometimes one wouldn't. now i dont have that much of a issue with it but i got a bigger battery so i dunno

On the contrary, the ashtray is directly in front of the shifter, so that when its opened the controls are RIGHT at yer fingers! Which is MUCH better than beside the seat, where I originally (temporarilly) located them! lol

I have no idea.. I got feedback from most who replied that they didnt have the foglight power issue, but my supplier claims that occasionally he runs across this issue, and its quickly remedied by using the relay harness, so I figured for $12, Id try that next.. we'll see what happens.

The relay unit did NOT help the problem on my fogs, either.. however replacing both ballasts seems to have done it! All set now..

So I spent 10 hours polishing the Dub Dirty Dogs, and then waxed them. Behold:

I also finished up the trunk panels, to stealthify the audio installed. The box window is lit, along with behind the 2 access panels.

As you can see, the box is built INTO the trunk. It utilizes the back area, and leaves the rest available for cargo. It's ported directly to the interior up top. It doesnt hinder access to the spare at all, nor the 2 compartments on either side.

Here's the 2 stealth panels I fabbed up to hide the audio and keep the 'clean' look:

Closeups of the window:

Also, the LED tails are new! lol

I don't like the eyelids or new wheels. I love the audio system set up and LED tail lights though. I gotta hand it to you though, when it comes to modding, you work pretty fast!

I knew GT-R's were huge, but they even make a 4-door luxury car look small
