I have a couple of videos with sound that I made with a Canon SD400. I've never checked them to see if the sound came through anything like reslistic or looked at how to post on the internet... I might be able to e-mail it but it's 15MB I think.
EDIT: I watched the videos and the sound is pretty representative of how it sounded in person. I can e-mail if you're interested and your e-mail can handle 15MB files.

Ok, just got some images from Steve at East Bay Muscle Cars. We are pretty close to finishing the welds and mock-up. Currently at the rear getting the muffler location correct. Everything is TIG welded with a x-pipe and yes, it uses factory hangers.
Everything is still raw in the development stage. Once fuly welded and tested, exhaust will be painted and finished with details.
Scheduled for pickup is now Saturday morning.
Stay tuned..

Looking good!
Unless he's giving you a super hook-up price, that system will eat up most of the rest of your budget. The cost of materials alone isn't insignificant, not to mention the hours to construct it. Looking forward to hearing your input on how it sounds. Too bad you weren't able to do headers too (maybe later?). The factory manifolds look like they would suck for free flow and good sound, but who knows?

Update 9-21
The Matte Black Sleeper Exhaust
Exhaust is completed. Fully TIG weld 2.5" dual exhaust. No resonators and deleted third cat. The car sounds amazing, idles quiet and comes alive when floored. The amount of detail was amazing. Steve and the good folks at East Bay Muscle Car spents hours piecing this custom exhaust together.
No fancy Exhaust tips. The idea behind this was to have a rumble and have ppl look behind the car and find nothing, nor a hint of what it is. Keep them guessing was the approach. ***notice the stock exhaust hangers were cut off and welded on the Magnaflow mufflers. Attention to details is amazing.
Custom hinge holds piping in secure location. This exhaust is so solid, you can actually hand from it. Johnson was doing pull ups from underneath..
X-pipe:
Rear section took the most time, bc the LS pumpkin is not perfectly down the middle of the car, so the driver side piping had more bends and turns to full get it to line up at stock location.
**Notice the brackets to remove the rear section if I ever needed
Overall impression: 10
Quality: 10
Performance: 10
Referral: You bet ya!
Video and sound to come after "The Pursuit"
Thanks for looking.

Vinyl wrapping Update:
Passenger quarter is complete, along with door caps and half a side skirt. I will be honest, Vinyl wrapping is not easy and not for the average joe. The quarter panel is possibly the hardest piece bc of the size. Door caps were cake, was able to finish 2 in 1.5 hrs. rear side skirt was a pain bc of the location and how it wraps way underneath the car.
Chrome window trim is now Matte Black:
Taillights have been sprayed in clear matte:
HellaFlush!!
Headlights, fogs, bumper is off the car:
Wet sanded and polished foglights;
Bumper needs a lot of TLC:
